Meet Our Organizers

Zhixin Li

 Zhixin is a first-year Master’s student in Educational Studies focusing on Design and Technologies for Learning at Marsal Family School of Education. Her research interests include User Experience Design, Learning Experience Design, and Human-Computer Interaction. 

Yuxin Chen

Yuxin graduated from Industrial and Operations Engineering focusing on Human Factor in December, 2022. Her research interests include Cognitive Engineering, Usability and System Evaluation.

Sophia Boettcher

Sophia (she/they) designed UX@UM's logo last year and is a Master's student of Applied Data Science. They are the executive director of PPEforHCP, a disaster relief charity dedicated to supplying vulnerable groups with free, vetted personal protective equipment.

Alex Warren

Alex is a first-year undergraduate student in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. He plans to complete a Bachelor of Science in Information through the School of Information, with a minor in Digital Studies. 

Elizabeth Riddle

Elizabeth is a STEM educator, civil rights activist, and neuroscience student turned UX professional. She is currently working towards her Masters degree in User Experience Design and Research. She  moved into UX because she wants to use her understanding of human behavior to create experiences that solve real problems people face with the products they use everyday. 

Jameson Staneluis

Jameson is currently working as Creative Lead at Rackham Graduate School. He is an award-winning designer with a demonstrated history of working in user experience design. He is a strong arts and design professional with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) focused in Industrial and Product Design from Rhode Island School of Design.
